- How to import settings and update the Suite

This tutorial explain how to use the "Import Settings" tool in the "Suite Manager" to import application setting files from an old Suite release to the new one. It allow you to keep in-a-click all application settings, downloaded files, bookmarks, "MyFiles" folders, personal documents and "Plus" applications.

- Firstly close the old Suite and all portable applications in use, to have a correct migration of settings.

- Follow the wizard to extract the new Suite (it is not recommended to extract the new Suite in the same directory of a previous release, because applications could not work properly).

- Now apply the language pack to translate the Suite in your language, if you have downloaded it.

- Start the new Suite release and run the "Import Settings" tool included in the "Suite Manager".

- Search or drag & drop the previous Suite release folder on the top inbox and click GO. It will import all setting files from the old release, to use new apps keeping previous settings.


 

- If you are updating the Suite from an older release (not the previous one), settings may be imported only partially. If you are an expert user, you can try to edit the "Launcher\Manager\Data\update.bat" file of the latest Suite release before running this tool.
